In simple terms if an individual is a contributor for the growth of the organization, then it’s a live horse. If he/she is a baggage to the organization then they are a dead horse.

In other terms, Energizers are living horses and dissipaters are dead horses.

If a person is living and not contributing is as good as dead.

One of the famous universal laws says: “Anything in the World that does not contribute, gets eliminated”. 

I hope this answers both the questions.

Good Post. The post explains what not to try with a Dead Horse!. But, in the current industry trend specifically in IT industry even a LIVE HORSE many times get trapped as NON-LIVE HORSE. 

So, considering the above situation here are my couple of questions which i thought will ask you!

1. How an organization can identify a DEAD HORSE?
2. How to identify ourselves as an individual, whether you're a DEAD or LIVE Horse?!
